Fight & Proposal

Hello, I have heard the news about the brawl between The Capulet's and The Montague's which happened today in town. I have also heard about the proposal mentioned to my father to ask for my hand in marriage. In my opinion, both of these subjects are out of line and rather insignificant at the moment. Paris is far too old in age for me and I am uncertain if I am ready for marriage. I have complete faith in my father to decide what is best for me though...and for our family. Continuing with the fight, I just think it is dramatic and quite ridiculous to handle these issues in such matters. And for what reason...biting of a thumb? Or could it be something deeper and angrier inside ones mind?
